An educational plan

Gelatitalia drew up a lesson plan made up of 600 hours’ classroom and lab activities that are meant to train the perfect Gelato Artisans of tomorrow: from the study of raw materials and processing techniques to the health&hygiene requirements and etiquette. At the same time, Gelatitalia set up some guidelines to point out to Professional Schools how to devise their own laboratories and get discounted equipment thanks to special agreements. Last but not least, Gelatitalia Chief Gelato Artisans train teachers and support them in the courses development.

Course program

The Gelato Artisan course encompasses 600 hours lessons split as follows:
Gelato-making techniques (theory and practice)
Health and hygiene requirements
Display and endorsement of the product
Internships at Artisans’ labs
Final exam
